As the sun begins to set on summer 2016, it’s time to dust off your notebooks and register for fall classes. Don’t worry though, SJC has you covered with exciting events that have become a welcome tradition on the campus of SJC Long Island. Here are some upcoming events that will help you make the most out of your return to campus life.


Welcome Back BBQ
1. Welcome Back BBQ

Welcome Back BBQ: Take some time to socialize with other students while enjoying lunch and activities on Wednesday, August 31, at the Welcome Back BBQ at the John A. Danzi Athletic Center at 1 p.m. 


Club Fair
2. Club Fair

Find out more about the clubs and organizations on campus and how to become a member at the Club Fair on Wednesday, September 7, in the gymnasium of the John A. Danzi Athletic Center at 1 p.m.  

 

Investiture
3. Investiture

Investiture is a cherished academic tradition and night of celebration. Clad in academic attire, the Class of 2020 will commit themselves to the values and spirit of SJC by taking the academic integrity pledge. The 2016 Investiture will take place on Thursday, September 15, in the John A. Danzi Athletic Center at 7 p.m.

 

Fall Fest
4. Fall Fest

When fall is in full swing, SJC students come out to celebrate at Fall Fest on Thursday, October 27, at the John A. Danzi Athletic Center at 1 p.m. 

 

East v West
5. East v. West

The East vs. West rivalry between SJC Long Island and SJC Brooklyn has been heating up since SJC Brooklyn moved into the Skyline Conference, placing the Bears in direct competition with the Golden Eagles. Come out to support your favorite campus in head-to-head matchups from November through April.
