| St. Joseph's College will host the New York State District 1 congressional debate between incumbent Tim Bishop (D-Southampton) and republican challenger Randy Altschuler. The live televised congressional debate is hosted by FiOS1 News, Long Island Business News (LIBN) and Long Island Press. A coin toss before the debate will determine the order of opening and closing statements. FiOS1 News and RNN Political Anchor Richard French will serve as the moderator.
