Benefits of attending St. Joseph’s College
Your service to your country was and is vital to preserving our freedom, and whether you're part of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force or Coast Guard, you worked hard for your benefits. By offering you these incentives, you can earn a private college degree at St. Joseph's College at little or no cost to you. SJC offers a special tuition rate of $250 per credit for servicemembers (active duty, guard and reserve) enrolled for up to 9 credits. This is the amount covered by Tuition Assistance (TA).
SJC is a proud participant in the Post-9/11 GI Bill Yellow Ribbon Program and has a knowledgeable staff available to answer questions regarding TA and other military benefits. SJC is also a participating member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) and a core SOCAD-4 member participating in the management network.

OFF-SITE COURSE OFFERINGS
The College realizes that convenience and flexibility are important parts of the college search for active military and veterans. SJC has the unique advantage of offering courses at off-site military installations at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn and Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island. ARMED FORCES ASSOCIATION
The SJC Armed Forces Association is a student club on the Long Island Campus that promotes an understanding of veterans and their vastly unique experiences, as well as the issues they face upon returning home. All veterans and non-veterans are invited to join.
