  Faith Ringgold Book Signing/Meet and Greet

  Join us for this wonderful opportunity to meet Faith Ringgold. The award-winning artist is known worldwide for her painted story quilts, prints and mixed-media sculptures that depict African-American stories. She’s also renowned for her vibrantly illustrated children’s books, such as Tar Beach, which won the Caldecott Medal of Honor for its illustrations. A selection of her books will be available for purchase. This event is free and open to all.

  Faith Ringgold's prints will be on display from October 4-November 6 in O'Connor Hall's Board Room.

  Featuring limited-edition lithographs, serigraphs, color etchings and silkscreen prints, this exhibition showcases many of the best known images produced by world-renowned African-American painter, author, mixed media sculptor and performance artist Faith Ringgold.
