  SJC Long Island will host Meaningful Media and Modern Culture: Making Sense of Emerging Trends, presented by William Phillips, Ph.D., associate chair of journalism and new media studies at SJC Long Island. This lecture, part of the College's ongoing centennial lecture series, will explain the interrelation of connections, relationships and the role and importance of affect/emotional connections, and why they are central to success in cultural and commercial communication in our new digital environment.
