Elementary Common Core Math Workshop
Are you having difficulty understanding and adapting to the Common Core math standards?
Come to St. Joseph’s College, where you can have small-group discussions led by graduate students and secondary math teachers who will help break down the intense language of the Common Core math standards for grades K-5. The main goal of this workshop is to bridge the divide between elementary and secondary mathematics education.

Said the Spider to the Fly
The Clare Rose Playhouse, a community theater at SJC Long Island, will continue its 32nd anniversary season with Said the Spider to the Spy. The show will run from April 28 through May 14, 2017.
In Said the Spider to the Spy by Fred Carmichael, Augusta Waycross borrows her friend’s identity and Florida beach home creating the perfect set-up for a hilarious mistaken identity comedy. With a house full of Columbian heroin and an array of guests, scene after hilarious scene culminate in revelations – who are these people and why are they all pretending to be someone else?
