PGS to Host Human Resources Workshop Series

PATCHOGUE, NY SEPTEMBER 10, 2010 The School of Professional and Graduate Studies at St. Josephs College is scheduled to host a series of workshops focusing on workplace issues entitled: "Focus on Human Resources. All sessions will be taught by SJC faculty.

The four-part series of human resources workshops include:

   October 1 "Using Social Media at Work presented by Carl Nappi
   November 12 "Facing Economic Challenges from Inside: Maintain Morale and Build a Great Work Environment presented by Robert Micera, S.P.H.R.
   March 25 "Discipline Counseling/Conflict Resolution presented by Paul Munoz, Ph.D.
   April 15 "Ethical Dilemmas in Human Resources presented by Elena Dundon, E.M.B.A.

Each workshop will take place between 8:30-11 a.m. in the Shea Conference Center located in OConnor Hall on the Long Island Campus of SJC. Sessions can be used toward re-certification for those individuals who have already received P.H.R. or S.P.H.R. professional certification.
