For scholarship consideration, the College recommends that all admissions materials (admissions application, high school records, SAT results) be received by the Office of Admissions on or before March 15 for fall entering students and January 1 for spring entering students.
TOP TIER SCHOLARSHIPS
Entering freshmen with a minimum 90 cumulative high school average and 1170 SAT score (EBRW and Math) will be considered. Top-tier scholarships begin at $17,000 per year.
SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Entering freshmen with a minimum 80 cumulative high school average and 1080 SAT score (EBRW and Math) or an 85 cumulative high school average and 980 SAT score will be considered. Scholastic achievement awards range from $10,000 - $13,000 per year.
The ACES Program for English Language and Culture awards a $12,000 per year grant to eligible freshmen students who have immigrated to the U.S. within the last eight years, completed their high school coursework, and have acquired a foundation in reading, writing and English.
ADDITIONAL SJC SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS
Students who meet qualifying characteristics such as high school attended, financial need, special interests, academic promise, geographic location and certain alumni relatives may be considered for additional grants. Award amounts may vary, but range from $1,000 - $3,000.
