"Once again we are very fortunate and pleased to be hosting this informative financial aid seminar with Congressman Bishop, said St. Josephs College Director of Financial Aid Amy Thompson. "The evening will provide invaluable insight into the seemingly daunting financial aid process that will most certainly benefit the families in our community.

The Financial Aid Information Seminar will include a keynote presentation by Congressman Tim Bishop and will be followed by a panel discussion including several financial aid professionals representing 18 colleges and universities from across Long Island. Topics will include applying for loans, common errors, early awareness, FAFSA and federal and state programs. A reception and a resource expo will conclude the evening.

"A higher education is the pathway to success in America, but students and parents must be proactive in seeking sources of financial aid, Congressman Bishop said.  "I thank St. Josephs College for partnering with me again this year to help ensure that parents are aware of all the resources available to their family and students dont graduate with an unsustainable level of debt.
