Support for Dowling

St. Joseph’s College joins our higher education colleagues in mourning the closure of Dowling College, and in pledging to do everything possible to help Dowling students reach their academic aspirations. 

For commuter students seeking placement — whether traditional age, adult, or graduate — St. Joseph’s College may be best able to meet your educational needs, depending on the program you are enrolled in. 

To expedite the admissions process, SJC Long Island will host a special Enrollment Day for Dowling students on Monday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Students at the event will:

• Receive an individualized evaluation of transfer credits. SJC Long Island will accept up to 90 undergraduate transfer credits and up to 12 graduate transfer credits.
• Learn about academic programs and the necessary requirements to complete a degree at SJC Long Island.
• Work with a counselor to quickly process financial aid.
• Discover the many scholarship opportunities still available.
