SJC Long Island to Welcome Northwell EVP and COO for Health Care Discussion

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – October 25, 2018 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC) will host Mark Solazzo, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Northwell Health Enterprises, and Dr. John Sardelis, professor of health administration at St. Joseph’s College, for a health care discussion titled, Health Care in the United States, on Thursday, November 29 at 6 p.m. in the McGann Conference Center at SJC Long Island in Patchogue, New York.

This discussion will include topics relating to health care in the United States, including what is working, the problems we face and what the future may hold. 

As executive vice president and chief operating officer, Solazzo provides leadership and oversight to all operations for Northwell Health, including its hospitals, long-term care facilities, physician group practices, a medical research institute and health care-related businesses. Solazzo earned an undergraduate degree from Fordham University, studied at Albany Medical College and received an MBA with a specialization in health system management from Union College in Schenectady, New York.
